dbm is not contrived. It is a very specific level as measured at some point in the receiver. A calibrated and accurate S-Meter reads a specific level at a specific place in the radio. We'll assu…1 -

The quick tip is to go to a frequency and place the radio in CW mode, and a bandwidth of 50 Hz. Then read the meter. On my radio, if I'm at say 3K Bandwidth, I'm reading somewhere near S-5.…1 -

I've been a Mac User since Toaster days. In 2011, I took up Linux, and thought I was through with the monter from Redmond. Then I bought my Flex Then Windows 10 came out and upset the apple cart.1
